The Government House Agenda 2027: The Silent Betrayal of Bokkos.

As conversations deepen and the road to 2027 slowly unfolds, a disturbing aroma of political betrayal hangs in the air—one that signals a quiet but dangerous exodus of conscience, loyalty, and truth. Following a series of high-level deliberations between political stakeholders and His Excellency, a troubling reality is emerging: Bokkos is being sidelined—sacrificed—for ambition and greed.

There’s a saying, “There is no smoke without fire.” Today, we must ask: What is the fate of Bokkos? When it’s openly declared that “we can win without Bokkos,” are we not witnessing our birthright being auctioned off by those we trusted? The 2023 elections were won by a margin of only 5,000 votes, a razor-thin line that highlights just how decisive Bokkos was. Yet, 2027 calculations are already in motion, suggesting we can be discarded, ignored, and mocked because “Bokkos problems are too much.”

The Calculated Coup Within

Make no mistake, what is playing out is a well-orchestrated scheme by a few powerful individuals within the corridors of Government House. It was alledge that the Chief of Staff, alongside the Chief of Protocol, are not just aiding the Governor—they are plotting for 2027. With silent support, it was also alledge they are redirecting public resources from agencies like SUBEB, PROWASA, and the fertilizer distribution scheme, stockpiling influence and logistics in preparation for their own political takeover, and is an unfortunate situation which the governor need to look into.

Meanwhile, our supposed representatives—those from Bokkos who should speak for us—have sold their conscience for mansions in Abuja and abroad, securing their future while mortgaging ours. Their betrayal is no longer hidden; the truth will be laid bare. The PYC elections, NAPSS interference, and countless backdoor dealings all form part of a larger plan: to trade Bokkos’ destiny for personal gain.
Bokkos Betrayed by Its Own
It’s now obvious: the real bargain was never about governance; it was about access. Appointees from Bokkos were never brought on board to serve their people but to ensure silence. The Chief of Staff now eyes the Mangu/Bokkos Federal Constituency seat. His accomplice, the Governor’s Protocol Aide, quietly maneuvers in the shadows. Their mission? To silence Bokkos and take full control.

How else do we explain the total neglect of grassroots voices? Where are the youths who fought for this government? Where are the women who marched, prayed, and sacrificed for this administration? Where are the elders who risked everything to birth a new dawn for Plateau? They have been forgotten. Cast aside. Betrayed.

The Empire of Greed

As Kanam positions for the Senate, the Central Zone is left in the cold. Will it be Pankshin? Will the North calculate itself into advantage again? And who truly benefits? Is His Excellency aware of the kunama (poison) being brewed in his name? Or is his name being used to legitimize a hidden agenda—a 2027 plan built not on public service but on greed and deception?

While the South silently activates its strategic machinery, Bokkos is being dismantled from within. Our appointees have failed not just Mutfwang—but the people. The Governor is loved by the people, but surrounded by individuals more interested in contracts than conscience, in plots than progress, and in power than the people.

The Time to Speak Is Now

We must ask again: Where are the real men and women of Bokkos? Where are the warriors who stood in the trenches when this government needed defenders? Where are the grassroots champions whose sweat and tears gave this government its mandate?

Their silence is not consent—it is pain. Their absence is not apathy—it is disappointment. But let it be known: Bokkos will not be used and discarded. Not now. Not ever.

2027 Is Coming—So Are We

If the 2027 game is already being played, let it be known that Bokkos is not a pawn. We are the people. We are the voice. We are the soul of Plateau. Those who plot in secret must prepare to face a public reckoning. We will not sleep. We will not be silent. We will not forget.

The betrayal has been noted. The people are watching. History is recording.
