The Message From Nepal:
A Prophetic Warning to the Nations

By Wilson Macaulay

There are moments in history when the heavens speak through the actions of men, when the earth itself groans under the weight of injustice, and when the oppressed rise as instruments of divine judgment. Such is the message from Nepal. No matter how long it takes, the end of bad governance is always destruction, shame, and disgrace. Power built on corruption is sand upon which no kingdom can stand. And now, before the eyes of the world, Nepal tucked between Indian and China in the Himalayas has become a prophetic mirror—showing all nations, especially Nigeria, the fate that awaits those who trample justice underfoot. The Cry of the Oppressed In Nepal, hunger reached unbearable heights. Insecurity devoured the peace of the people. Hospitals became graveyards for the poor. Leaders feasted while citizens languished. But the voice of the people is the voice of God, and when that cry rises to the heavens, no throne of iniquity can withstand its force. The Nepalis revolted, not merely against President, Ramchandra Paudel but against the spirit of corruption that had enthroned darkness over their land. And like the handwriting on the wall of Babylon, the judgment was swift—weighed in the balance and the Political leadership of that nation was found wanting. Nigeria Has Crossed the Threshold This is where the warning becomes sharper. Nigeria, more than Nepal, has crossed the threshold of divine patience. The signs are glaring: Hunger stalks the land. Even the basic meal has become a luxury for millions. Insecurity reigns. From the North to the South, blood cries from the soil. Health and education decay. The future of the youth is mortgaged by corruption. Greed and impunity flourish. Leaders enrich themselves while the people drown in poverty. How long shall darkness pretend to rule where light was ordained to shine? How long shall a nation so blessed with resources remain a byeword for suffering? Nigeria is standing at the edge of the same fire that consumed Nepal’s corrupt order. The longer the rulers harden their hearts, the more inevitable the explosion becomes. The divine principle stands because light is ordained to overcome darkness The Word has established it: “The light shines in darkness, and the darkness comprehended it not” (John 1:5). Darkness may strut upon the stage for a while, but light always has the final word. Bad governance is darkness. Oppression is darkness. Corruption is darkness. And when the people awaken in the power of truth, light bursts forth like a consuming fire. This is why Nepal’s revolution is not just political—it is spiritual. It is the living demonstration that when constructive evolution is rejected, dramatic revolution becomes inevitable. God Himself stirs the hearts of the oppressed until they can no longer bow to the yoke of Pharaoh. A Trumpet Blast to the Nations Let every corrupt government hear and tremble: the patience of the people is not infinite. The silence of the oppressed is not consent. The Message from Nepal is clear—repent, reform, and restore justice, or else you will be swept away in disgrace. For Nigeria, the trumpet is louder. The ground is already shaking. The anger of the people simmers like fire beneath dry grass. Delay in repentance will only make the explosion greater. Leaders must choose: embrace the light of good governance now, or be remembered as the generation that led Nigeria into her own Nepal moment. Conclusion:
The Inevitable Triumph.
Corruption is a night that cannot last. Darkness always yields to dawn. And when the dawn of justice breaks, no power of deceit can stop it. Darkness may prevail for a while but when the sun rises darkness disappears like a mirage. Rt. Honorable President Ramchandra Paudel the third and current President of Nepal who was elected on 9 March 2023 and took office on 13 March 2023 is now in a panic mode . He has gotten the message that bad Governance have the potential boomerang effect like a snake that stings by the tail . The message from Nepal is not just history—it is prophecy. It declares that every throne built on lies will crumble, every empire of greed will scatter, and every nation that betrays its people will fall. Nigeria and all corrupt nations must hear this warning: change, or be changed by the force of divine judgment through the people.
The enthronement of Parliamentary democracy in England was done by the Puritans, in Russia it was the Bolsheviks. . In Nepal, the Gen Z generation staged the protest and the unrest rattled the seat of power . For those who think that Nigeria is a safe haven for corruption , recall the EndSARS protest of October 8,2020 which is just a tip of the iceberg compared to what the Gen Z generation is capable of doing to any bad Government which refuses to embrace people centred policies and programs.Truth be told, if President Ramchandra Paudel of Nepal knew what was coming,he would have acted differently, but he underestimated the Power of the pedergogy of the oppressed untill he was consumed by the anger of people.
