Timely Job Delivery Assured as Kogi Works Commissioner Inspects Zone 8-Crusher Road Project

In line with His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo’s unwavering commitment to revolutionizing Kogi State’s road network, the Honorable Commissioner for Works, Engr. Mohammed Ahovi Yusuf, today 30-07-2024 conducted an unscheduled inspection of the Zone 8-Crusher Road project in Lokoja. This visit underscores the Governor’s resolve to ensure timely delivery and strict compliance with standards.

Hon. Engr Mohammed Ahovi Yusuf expressed satisfaction with the project’s pace. He emphasized Governor Ododo’s keen interest in the project, stating, “His Excellency has instructed us to expedite the project and ensure timely delivery. We will not relent until we achieve the desired result.” He said

The Commissioner’s entourage included top officials from the Ministry of Works, the Permanent Secretary Engr Emmanuel Audu, the Director of Civil Engineering Engr Sunday Baba, the Technical Assistant to the Honourable Commissioner Engr Anthony Sule and others who were impressed by the progress made on the project. The Chairman of TEC Nigeria LTD, Chief Nwankolo Gabriel, and the project manager, Engr. Shaw, assured the Commissioner of timely delivery, citing the deployment of additional equipment and manpower.

This inspection highlights Governor Ododo’s giant stride in transforming Kogi State’s road infrastructure and commitment to enhancing the state’s connectivity for economic growth.
