The Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, extends his heartfelt congratulations to all hardworking men and women across Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Workers’ Day.
He acknowledges that the commitment, resilience, and tireless efforts of Nigerian workers remain the driving force behind the nation’s growth and sustainable development. From public servants to private sector professionals, artisans to entrepreneurs, Nigerian workers continue to demonstrate unmatched dedication in building a stronger and more prosperous country.
Senator Barau emphasizes that the contributions of workers are not only vital to economic progress but also to the unity and stability of the nation. He commends their perseverance in the face of challenges and their continued belief in the promise of a better Nigeria.
The Deputy Senate President further urges all Nigerians to remain united in the collective pursuit of national development. He calls for renewed commitment to the shared vision of a stronger, more inclusive nation, in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda—an initiative designed to restore Nigeria to the path of prosperity, economic growth, and lasting progress for the benefit of all citizens.
He reassures workers of the government’s commitment to policies that will improve their welfare, create more opportunities, and strengthen the nation’s economic foundation.
As we celebrate this Workers’ Day, Senator Barau I. Jibrin encourages all Nigerians to continue working together with dedication, integrity, and patriotism to build the Nigeria we all desire.
