WWT Kogi Mourns Former Governor Ibrahim Idris
The leadership of the Win With Tinubu (WWT) Grassroots Mobilization Program in Kogi State has expressed condolences to the family of former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, popularly known as “Ibro,” following his death.
In a condolence message signed by the State Programme Coordinator, Sani Philips, WWT Kogi described the former governor’s passing as a profound loss to Kogi State and Nigeria.
The group commiserated with the Government and people of Kogi State, the Idris family, friends, associates, political followers and others who mourn the former governor.
According to the statement, the death of Alhaji Ibrahim Idris is a reminder of the transient nature of power, position and human existence, stressing that what ultimately endures is the impact individuals make on the lives of others and the footprints they leave behind.

WWT noted that Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, who served as Governor of Kogi State for two terms, occupies an important place in the political and developmental history of the state through his years of public service.
“At this moment of grief, WWT Kogi State joins our people in mourning a former leader who devoted a significant portion of his life to public service,” the statement said.
The organisation particularly extended its condolences to the Idris family and the people of Kogi East Senatorial District, as well as the former governor’s political associates and followers.
The group prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, accept his good deeds and grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus.
It also prayed for strength and fortitude for the Idris family and the people of Kogi State to bear the loss.
“May the flight of Angels lead H.E. Alhaji Ibrahim Idris to his place of rest, and may God bless the family he has left behind,” the statement added.
