Yagba East APC Chairman, Hon. Abdurazaq Abdulkadir Mourns Demise of Ijumu APC Chairman, Late Hon. Mayowa Solomon Oyewole

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Yagba East Local Government Area, Hon. Abdurazaq Olusegun Abdulkadir, has expressed deep sorrow over the sudden demise of his friend and confidant, Late Hon. Mayowa Solomon Oyewole, APC Chairman, Ijumu Local Government Area.
In a condolence message issued on Saturday, 22nd August 2026, Hon. Abdulkadir described the late Ijumu APC Chairman as a loyal party man, grassroots mobilizer and a dependable leader whose commitment to the progress of Ijumu and the ideals of the APC will be greatly missed.

Hon. Abdulkadir said the death of Hon. Oyewole came as a rude shock and a painful loss to the APC family across Kogi West Senatorial District.
“It is with a heavy heart that I received the news of the sudden passing of my friend, brother and colleague, Hon. Mayowa Solomon Oyewole, the APC Chairman, Ijumu LGA. He was a committed leader who believed in unity, service and the growth of our great party at the grassroots,” he stated.
“He will be remembered for his dedication to the APC, his love for the people of Ijumu, and his unwavering support for the progress of Kogi State.”

The Yagba East APC Chairman commiserated with the immediate family of the deceased, the APC leadership in Ijumu LGA and Kogi State, and the entire people of Ijumu over the irreparable loss.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the soul of the departed eternal rest in Aljannah Firdaus and to give the family, friends and party members the fortitude to bear the loss.
