2027: Kogi SUBEB Secretary Adakeke Mobilises Mozum Residents for Continuous Voter Registration

The Board Secretary of the Kogi State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Hon. Alhassan Salisu Adakeke, has inaugurated a technical committee to mobilise residents of Mozum district in Bassa Local Government Area for the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Hon. Adakeke, a former Majority Leader of the Kogi State House of Assembly, said the initiative followed the directive of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to ensure maximum participation of eligible voters in the state.

Speaking to journalists at the weekend, Adakeke said the committee would work tirelessly to achieve massive voter registration and deliver strong support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid pls and Governor Ododo’s 2027 project, codenamed *#MozumAA2027*.

“The setting up of this technical committee ahead of the 2027 election is timely,” he said. “The people of Mozum district have a simple but crucial task — to return the mandate of two of our nation’s most of committed leaders, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Chief Servant of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo. These are two leaders who have continued to serve this country selflessly.”

Adakeke expressed confidence that President Tinubu would be re-elected and insisted that “there is no vacancy in Lugard House come 2027.”

He urged residents of Bassa Local Government to take advantage of the CVR window to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

“Before this dream can be achieved, our people must come out en masse to register. The voter’s card is the only instrument that guarantees participation in the 2027 general election,” he said.

He further revealed that the committee would embark on door-to-door sensitisation campaigns to ensure that no eligible voter in Mozum district is left out.

“We will not just wait for people to come to the registration centres. We will go to their homes, villages, and communities to encourage them to register. This is a collective responsibility,” he added.
