Kogi State Police Command Hosts Nigerian Navy Students
The Kogi State Police Command played host to 120 students of Junior Course 99 (JC 99) of the Department of Maritime War College (DMW) from the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji.
The visit aimed to enhance inter-agency collaboration and synergy between the Nigeria Police Force and the Nigerian Navy.
The students, led by Director Commodore A.O. Ojebode, visited the Kogi State Police Command Headquarters in Lokoja to learn from real-time operations and foster cooperation.
Superintendent of Police Ali A. Usman delivered a presentation on “Consolidating Multi-Agency Cooperation for Enhancing Nigeria’s Maritime Security,” highlighting the importance of synergy between the Marine Police Unit and the Nigerian Navy.
The visit strengthened the commitment of both agencies to build a united front against maritime and inland waterway-related threats.
