In these trying times, when the winds of uncertainty blow across our communities and the echoes of fear linger in the hearts of our people, it has become more important than ever to speak with clarity, honesty, and unity. As a concerned citizen of Zuru in Kebbi State, I feel compelled to share a story—our story—and reaffirm the truth behind the unwavering commitment of Senator Garba Musa Maidoki to the safety and well-being of our beloved state.
Recently, the Kebbi State Government released a statement on the ongoing security challenges affecting our towns and villages. For many of us living here in Zuru Emirate, the pain is personal. We have watched families displaced, farmlands abandoned, and our schoolgirls taken away in fear and confusion. Yet even in these dark moments, there are voices that rise above politics—voices that stand firmly with the people.
From the beginning, Senator Maidoki has never made the suffering of our people a political argument or a platform for personal gain. Instead, he has consistently stood as a bridge between our pain and the government institutions responsible for our protection. He reminds us that this moment calls not for blame, but for unity, sincerity, and collective effort.
Speaking out firmly and responsibly on issues that endanger the safety of his constituents.
Supporting all genuine efforts—state, federal, or community-based—aimed at restoring peace.
Collaborating with key stakeholders, including traditional leaders, security agencies, and grassroots groups.
Prioritizing the rescue of our abducted schoolgirls and every innocent soul caught in the web of banditry.
Every step he takes reflects empathy, truth, and a desire to bring lasting peace—not merely temporary relief.
What sets Senator Maidoki apart is not the speech he gives publicly, but the quiet dedication we, the people of Zuru, have seen behind the scenes: midnight meetings, consultations with security experts, and visits to distressed families. He carries our fears as if they were his own.
In moments like these, as the community struggles to find balance between fear and hope, Senator Maidoki calls not for anger but for prayers, calmness, and solidarity. He urges leaders across all political lines to come together—not as rivals, but as protectors of the same homeland we all love.
As a citizen of Zuru, I know that his only interest—now and always—remains the security, prosperity, and dignity of the people he represents. And in these challenging days, we stand with him, believing that with unity, determination, and divine guidance, peace will return to every corner of Kebbi State.
