Amb. Enikanolaiye, Chief (Mrs) Omole to Serve as Chairman, Chairlady at Ekinrin-Adde Day 2025

Amb. Olusola Enikanolaiye, the Senior Special Assistant on Foreign Affairs and International Relations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has accepted to serve as Chairman of the 2025 Ekinrin-Adde Day celebration.

This disclosure was made known in a statement released by the National Publicity Secretary of Ekinrin-Adde Community Development Association, Mr. Emmanuel Ajibola Ogungbuyi.

According to the Publicity Secretary, Chief. Mrs. Toyin Omole, the CEO of Fate Oil and Energy Services Limited will also serve as the Chair Lady of the day.

Mr. Emmanuel Ajibola Ogungbuyi further disclosed that both the Chairman and chair Lady of the event will bag honorary chieftaincy titles which will be conferred on them by His Royal Majesty, the Olu Adde of Ekinrin-Adde and Chairman Ekinrin-Adde traditional Council, Olu Anthony Bamigbaiye Idowu at the Baptist High School Open field.

Ekinrin-Adde Day is an annual event which showcases the unity, rich cultural heritage, and development strides of the Ekinrin-Adde Community. It brings together indigenes from across the globe in celebration of their roots, while also recognizing the contributions of individuals and organizations towards the growth of the community.

The occasion also affords all sons, daughters, and friends of Ekinrin-Adde the opportunity to reiterate their commitment towards the development of the community by donating funds for the upliftment of the social Infrastructural and educational sector of the community.

Highlighting the features of the event, the Publicity Secretary stated that the celebration is divided into two major segments. Awards Night which he said will come up on the 20th of June, will honor deserving sons and daughters of the community for their outstanding contributions. The second is the Main Annual Day celebration, which will feature cultural displays of different kinds, and communal festivities at the Baptist High School Open Field.

He added that some notable indigenes have been nominated to receive different categories of Awards. According to him, seven eminent personalities will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, while five others will bag Distinguished Community Development Service Award. Also, six illustrious sons and daughters of the community will be inducted into the Omo-Atata Hall of Fame.

He further explained that the Grand Star Award is specially reserved for an indigene who has shown a deep commitment to the growth of Ekinrin-Adde, with a long-standing record of selfless service that has positively touched lives both within and outside the community.

The Publicity Secretary, in his closing remarks, enjoined all sons, daughters, and friends of the community, to prepare ahead, promising that this year’s program will be unforgettable, richly entertaining, and will reflect a true celebration of Ekinrin-Adde’s heritage.
