Amb. Gabriel Abinu Sustains Monthly Empowerment Scheme for the Elderly in Lokoja

Renowned philanthropist, Ambassador (Coach) Gabriel Abinu, has continued his monthly empowerment programme for the elderly in Lokoja, Kogi State, as part of his ongoing commitment to improving the welfare of vulnerable groups in society.

During the November disbursement exercise, Amb. Abinu expressed gratitude to God for granting him the opportunity to give back to his community.

“I will forever be grateful to Almighty Allah for giving me the means and the heart to serve humanity,” he said. “I am always happy giving back to society, especially to the elderly and vulnerable ones. This monthly empowerment programme will, by the grace of God, remain sustainable.”

He emphasized the importance of supporting the less privileged, noting that his initiative was inspired by compassion and a deep sense of responsibility to uplift the needy.

“We all have a role to play in building a caring and inclusive society,” Abinu added. “I call on individuals, organizations, and government bodies to join hands in supporting this cause for the good of our nation.”

Over the years, Amb. Abinu has demonstrated a strong commitment to humanitarian service. He has empowered thousands of youths with vocational skills and start-up kits, sponsored countless students for external examinations such as the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Examination (JAMB), and provided access to clean water by drilling boreholes for communities within and outside Lokoja metropolis.

Beneficiaries of his monthly programme described him as “a man with a golden heart”, commending his consistency and compassion.

“Ambassador Abinu has shown us that true leadership is about service and sacrifice,” said one of the elderly recipients. “May God continue to bless him for remembering people like us.”

Amb. Gabriel Abinu’s enduring acts of kindness continue to leave a lasting impact on lives across Kogi State, making him a beacon of hope for many in the community.
