APC Aiono Ward 2 Appreciates Support at Chief Audu Ogbeh’s Burial
The All Progressives Congress (APC), Aiono Ward 2, has extended heartfelt appreciation to party leaders, members, and supporters who stood in solidarity during the burial of the late former Minister of Agriculture, Chief Audu Ogbeh, OFR.
The burial ceremony, held on Friday in Otukpa, Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue State, attracted dignitaries from across the country. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Dr. George Akume, who led a high-powered delegation to the event.
In a statement jointly signed by Hon. Donatus Obochi, former Member of the House of Representatives, Barr. John Ali Ude, Acting Leader of Aiono Ward 2, and Mrs. Mary Musa, Ward Chairman, the ward commended the unwavering support of Senator Akume, his entourage, Comrade Austin Agada, and the wider APC family.
Hon. Donatus Obochi noted that the show of solidarity was a reflection of the values Chief Ogbeh stood for. “Our late leader was a unifying figure in Benue and beyond. Seeing the entire APC family rally around us at this difficult moment shows how much he was loved and respected,” he said.
Barr. John Ali Ude also paid tribute to the contributions of Hon. Dr. Philip Agbese (Okanga), Member representing Ado, Okpokwu, and Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, describing his role as outstanding. “Dr. Agbese went above and beyond to ensure that our ward members were able to host the multitude of supporters who came to honour Chief Ogbeh. His leadership is deeply appreciated,” he stated.
Mrs. Mary Musa, the Ward Chairman, added: “We thank every party member and supporter who stood with us. Your presence gave us strength, and it is a testament to the unity and resilience of our great party.”
The ward leadership emphasized that the solidarity demonstrated during the burial was a true reflection of the honour accorded to Chief Audu Ogbeh, who until his passing served as Deputy Leader of the APC in Benue State.
