Appeal Court: Ohere congratulates Natasha Akpoti Udaughan.

Engr. Abubakar Ohere has Congratulated Barr. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan on her victory at the Appeal Court.

Engr. Ohere in a statement issued to Newsmen described the Court of Appeal, Abuja Division ruling that affirmed Barr. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan as the duly elected candidate for Kogi Central Senatorial Election earlier held in February.

Ohere in the Statement said within the space of his existence in the National Assembly, he was able to get the foundational knowledge of what exactly will attract the attention of the people of Kogi Central.

Ohere promised to make himself available whenever the Senator Elect may need such collaboration.

Ohere used the statement to thank Gov. Yahaya Bello for standing by him all through the election and the judicial processes, equally appreciated all the leaders of the APC in the State, Kogi Central in particular for their support.

He however urged the people of Kogi Central to imbibe the spirit of consolidation by ensuring that the APC forms the government in Kogi State for the good of all.

Recalled that the court of Appeal sitting in Abuja yesterday dismissed the appeal filed by Abubakar Ohere for lacking in merit.

The Kogi State Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Lokoja had in September nullified the victory of Ohere of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the Kogi Central Senatorial Election.
