Col. Bello Fadile (rtd) Holds 75th Birthday Thanksgiving Service in Kabba, says despite the challenges, God keeps him alive

Col. Bello Fadile (rtd), a renowned military officer and Owe/Okun High Chief recently celebrated his 75th birthday with a thanksgiving service at Our Lady of Queens Catholic Church in Kabba, Kogi State.
The event was well-attended by family, friends, and dignitaries, including Dr. Joel Usman Amodu, Registrar of Kogi State University, Kabba.
In his sermon, Rev. Father Olorunshola Dominic commended Col. Fadile for choosing their parish among other parishes in Lokoja Diocese to celebrate his milestone birthday.


He emphasized the importance of not judging people by their past actions, noting that God can use anyone for His works.
Col. Fadile, in his appreciation, acknowledged God’s faithfulness in his life.
He shared that he had left Nigeria ten years ago due to political challenges but has returned to contribute to the nation’s development.
Despite facing travails in the military, Col. Fadile expressed gratitude to God for keeping him alive.
The birthday celebration also included a visit to the Kogi State University campus, where Col. Fadile commended the state government for establishing the institution.
He pledged his support for initiatives that will transform the community’s development landscape.
Col. Fadile’s remarkable life story, including his experiences as a military officer and peacekeeper in Lebanon, is a testament to his resilience and determination. He has indeed lived a life full of challenges and adventures, earning him the nickname “a retired but not tired military officer with nine lives”
