As Deltans are gearing up for the State Council Polls July 13th, 2024, the CEO Of A. Shuttle Limited, Olorogun Kingsley Aghworo has advised chairmanship aspirants in Okpe Local Government Area of the State to be sincere and transparent with the electorate, saying that they should not make electoral promises that they cannot fulfill.

He equally advised Okpe chairmanship aspirants in the Delta State forthcoming council polls to let the people know how they are going to generate revenue for developmental projects if elected into office in the July 13th, 2024 council polls.

In a press statement made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Effurun, he implored Okpe chairmanship aspirants not to see the forthcoming council polls as business as usual, “But let the people know about your policies, ideals and things you are actually going to do for them when elected and how to generate revenue for developmental projects in our great Okpe local government area”.

Olorogun Kingsley Aghworo admonished Okpe Local Government Area Chairmanship aspirants not to campaign dropping the name of the Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, adding that; “Stand out and do a proper campaign on your own without intimidating people with the name of our Governor.

He added that; “We should not campaign as regard of who is a boy to His Excellency or who is more closer to our dynamic Governor, but go out there and campaign with your track records, go out there and campaign with what you have upstairs and we should not result to insult or blackmail but show our good people of Okpe Local Government Area of what you can do, show them your capacity, capability and the leadership qualities that you have”.

The PDP Chieftain said that he had always believed in the leadership qualities of the State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and never had any doubt about his ability to lead the state to victory in the 2023 Governorship election in the state, adding that; “As a member of PDP, I worked hard in last year election in the State, even before the primary, I believed in the leadership qualities of His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori to lead our great party to victory and I spent my personal funds and even used my position as a leader in Okpe Union to canvas vote for him and to the glory of God, we all are seeing the rapid development in the state since he assumed office May 29th, 2023”.

Olorogun Kingsley Aghworo added that; “I do not support people for benefit or sing praises for lobbying but for my ideology and believe and that is why today I am not among those who have been appointed E.A, SSA, SA etc and I am not feeling bad or sad about it because I am very happy about the job His Excellency is doing in the state and we as Deltans should continue to pray and support him to succeed. God bless Nigeria, God bless Delta state,God bless Okpe Local Government”.
