Kogi:”You’ll Never Become PDP State Chairman— Party Elders Tell Agada,
.. Warn him to desists from careless utterances against Ibrahim Idris, Capt. Wada
……Tasks Aruwa to seek for another means of livelihood outside politics.
The elders of the Peoples Democratic Party forum have warned Captain Joe Agada to stay away from the party’s chairmanship position, stating that the ‘Kogi State Chairman’ is not his calling, and he should avoid troubling himself.
The Elders also advised him to work on his entitlement mentality, saying PDP will no longer be the avenue of political negotiation.
They said the decision on Enemona Anyebe as the state chairman is final, and that Joe Agada and his team of so-called aspirants should respect that decision, mobilizing people up and down to cast aspersion on Capt Idris Wada and Alhaji Ibrahim Idris will not be acceptable by the stakeholders
The spokesperson of the forum, Alhaji Ibrahim Dansofo, spoke in a statement made available to newsmen in Lokoja on Wednesday morning.
According to the statement, we know those pushing Joe Agada to undermine the decision of the Kogi East stakeholders’ position under the leadership of Alhaji Ibrahim Idris and Captain Idris Wada, who painstakingly came up with the workable resolution of acceptable solutions in naming Hon. Enemona Anyebe.
“We are aware they realized so much from the immediate past Governorship election and want the party to remain a mere shadow of itself for future negotiations, thereby reducing PDP’s chance to a mere Automatic Teller Machine (ATM).
“The decision of Alhaji Ibrahim Idris’ review committee is final,” describes PDP zonal youth leader, Aruwa Ismail, who has suddenly found his voice now as a mere political 419 seeking a platform to survive economically since his only means of livelihood is politics.
“A lazy youth leader who has never made any statement on any issues regarding Kogi state’s eight years of Yahaya Bello and APC corruption, nor has he ever condemned the wanton killing in Plateau state, Benue, or Kogi, is today issuing a statement to undermine the decision of the party leadership.”
The statement also accused embattled Joe Agada of being an arrowhead in Kogi state PDP and states that they know the roles he played in the crisis between former Governor Captain Idris Wada and Engr. Musa Wada.
“We advise him to put his political family in order before talking of the state chairman position; Now Agada ward have political crisis, his local government is engulfed with crisis, whe didn’t see Tony Amego as PDP member now Enemona is a PDP member, Noe believes he owns PDP , we are not unaware that he is behind the whole overnight meeting that will lead to nowhere.
“We also warn against any attempts to undermine the leadership of the party and state that we will not tolerate any interference from politicians from Kogi west or central.
“They emphasized the need for unity within the party and for everyone to work towards the success of the PDP in future elections,” the statement reads in part.
