Eid-El-Kabir: Ex Speaker Kolawole Felicitates with Muslim Faithful
Immediate past Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Prince) Matthew Kolawole has felicitated with and congratulated Muslim faithful across the globe particularly those in Kogi state on the celebration of this year’s Eid-El-Kabir, prayed that Allah shall continue to grant them their heart desires.
He disclosed this in a press statement he personally signed by himself and made available to newsmen in Lokoja.
He urged them to continue to pray for the peace, unity and development of the nation under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for Nigeria to witness true transformation in all sectors of the economy.
He appealed to all Kogites to continue to give maximum support and cooperation to the current administration led by Governor Yahaya Bello who have truly repositioned the state for the betterment of all, pointed out that the recent establishment of the state owned University in Kabba, headquarters of Kogi West/Okun nation is a clear manifestation of his desire to promote fairness, equity and justice in the distribution of the state resources.
He further asked Kogites to continue to have faith in the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) by voting the party overwhelmingly come November 11 Governorship Election, as the candidate of the party, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman and Comrade Joel Salifu will consolidate on the achievements of the new direction administration in all sectors in the state.
He urged the Muslim faithful to use the opportunity of the season to renew their faith to strengthen their relationships with their creator and also show love and kindness to one another.
