H/Chief Felix Adeleye to Receive Community Service Award at Ekinrin-Adde Day
The Founder and Chief Executive officer of Collson Oil and Gas Limited, High Chief Felix Adeleye Mebanidu, has been enlisted among indigenes of Ekinrin-Adde to receive Distinguished Community Development Service Award.
This was made known in a statement made available to journalists by the National Publicity Secretary of Ekinrin-Adde Community Development Association (EACDA) Pastor Emmanuel Ajibola Ogungbuyi.
High Chief Felix Mebanidu, an accomplished entrepreneur, business leader, and community ambassador whose career spans over two decades in the fashion, garments, and Nigeria’s oil and gas industries, was born in the 1970s into the family of the late Elvis Adeleye Mebanidu of Iluji, Otun-Adde, and Olori Janet Taiwo of Ona, Ekinrin-Adde
He began his career in the garments and fashion industry, where he developed valuable business expertise before transitioning into the oil and gas sector.
Through vision, resilience, and exceptional business acumen, he established himself as a respected figure in Nigeria’s downstream petroleum industry. As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Collson Oil and Gas Limited, he has successfully driven end-to-end supply solutions for downstream clients across the country.
With over 27 years of leadership experience in the oil and gas sector, he is widely recognized for his commitment to sustainable growth, operational excellence, and stakeholder value.
High Chief Mebanidu has made significant contributions to the labour movement through the National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG). With more than 22 years of distinguished service, he rose from serving as a Unit Chairman in Ikorodu, Lagos State, to becoming a National Executive Member of the Union, where he has demonstrated outstanding expertise in labour relations, industry policy, and stakeholder engagement.
A passionate advocate for peace and community development, High Chief Felix Adeleye Mebanidu is widely respected as a bridge-builder and promoter of harmony. He remains committed to the progress of his community while upholding the cherished values of traditional leadership.
An avid traveller, he has visited numerous destinations within and outside Nigeria for both business and leisure, reflecting his appreciation for diverse cultures.
Above all, High Chief Mebanidu is a devoted family man. He is happily married to the love of his life, Mrs. Blessing Ekene Adeleye, and their union is blessed with children.
