HON. SANNI OLAJIDE: AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THE YOUNGER GENERATION THROUGH TECHNICAL INITIATIVES IF ELECTED

As the campaign for the Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency House of Representatives seat gathers momentum, one name that continues to resonate among young people is Hon. Sanni Olajide. His vision for youth development goes beyond political promises, focusing on practical solutions that can transform lives through technical education, digital innovation, and skills acquisition.
For many years, thousands of young people in Kabba-Bunu and Ijumu have struggled with unemployment and limited access to opportunities. Hon. Sanni Olajide believes that empowering the youth with technical and vocational skills is one of the most effective ways to tackle poverty, reduce crime, and create sustainable economic growth.

His proposed technical initiative is designed to equip young people with relevant skills in areas such as information technology, software development, cybersecurity, graphics design, digital marketing, artificial intelligence, renewable energy, electrical installation, welding, plumbing, carpentry, fashion design, and modern agricultural technologies. These are industries that continue to create employment opportunities both within Nigeria and internationally.
Beyond training, Hon. Sanni Olajide envisions partnerships with private organizations, educational institutions, and development agencies to ensure participants receive certifications, mentorship, startup support, and access to employment opportunities. Such collaborations would enable beneficiaries to become entrepreneurs, employers of labour, and contributors to the economic growth of the constituency.
The initiative would also prioritize women and persons living with disabilities, ensuring that every segment of society has an opportunity to acquire valuable skills and improve their standard of living.
Supporters believe that investing in technical education is an investment in the future of Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu. A generation equipped with modern skills is more likely to become productive, innovative, and self-reliant, reducing dependence on government jobs and creating new businesses that stimulate local development.
If elected to represent the people at the House of Representatives, Hon. Sanni Olajide has expressed his commitment to sponsoring legislation and attracting constituency projects that promote innovation, technical education, digital inclusion, and youth empowerment.
