Honourable Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru parts of Nigeria Delegation to France

The Honourable Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar has joined President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on a three-day state visit to France.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by Mati Ali PA, Media & Publicity to the Honourable Minister of Defence and made available to newsmen in Abuja
According to him, the visit was at the invitation of the President of France, Emmanuel Macron and is aimed at further strengthening the longstanding bilateral relations between Nigeria and France.
He said President Tinubu was accompanied by the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu and they have since arrived in Paris yesterday to commence the official visit.
“During the visit, the Honourable Minister of Defence will engage in high-level discussions alongside other members of the Nigerian delegation and their French counterparts, focusing on defence cooperation, security partnerships, and other areas of mutual interest”.
The state visit is scheduled to conclude on Friday, 29th November 2024.
