ICDA commiserates with people of Ebira land over demise of paramount ruler Dr Ado Ibrahim
The Igala Cultural Development Association (ICDA) has described the death of the paramount ruler of Ebiraland and Vice Chairman, Kogi State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Ado Ibrahim, as very painful and a huge loss not only to the people of Ebiraland but also the people of Kogi State and Nigeria in general.
The President, Caretaker Committee of ICDA, Pastor Immanuel Ameadaji made the remark on Friday in a statement following the death of His Majesty, Alhaji Ado Ibrahim.
He described the late paramount ruler as a very courageous and fearless ruler who stood in the defence of his people in particular and humanity in general and also brought a lot of developments to the area and the country as a whole.
Pastor Ameadaji urged the immediate family and the people of Ebira land particularly to take solace in the fact that the deceased monarch lived a fulfilled life worthy of emulation.
He commiserated with the people of Ebiraland and Kogi State over the sad loss saying the wise counsel of the paramount ruler will be greatly missed especially now that the State is about electing a new State chief executive. Pastor Ameadaji prayed for the peaceful repose of his soul.
