Iluhagba Monarch Commends Mangal Industries Ltd Over CDA CSR Projects

The Olu of Iluhagba in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State, HRH Oba David Samuel, has commended Mangal Industries Ltd for fulfilling promises made to the community under its Community Development Agreement, CDA, and Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR, programmes, stressing that the preseentation of the #19.5million entrepreneur and scholarship empowerment is one of those promises that is being fulfilled
In an interview with journalists on the sidelines of a scholarship and entrepreneur empowerment programme for Iluhagba indigenes by Mangal Industries Ltd, the traditional ruler said the visit was to witness the company deliver on commitments made to the people of Iluhagba.
_“The reason we are here today is CDA and CSR, which Mangal Industries Ltd promised us. And today, they have made it real. So we are very happy for what Mangal has done for us today,”_ he said.
Oba David described Mangal Industries Ltd as a company that keeps its word, noting that beyond projects listed in the CDA agreement, the company also initiates additional CSR interventions after consultations with the community.
_“What I mean by CSR is what is not in the CDA. They always reach out to community to sit down together, and think about what they want to do that is good for the community, but it’s not in the CDA. They will add it to the CDA and make the people happy,”_ he explained.
The monarch expressed joy over the development and accepted all items and projects delivered by the company “with joy and happiness.” He thanked the management, the Olujumu of Ijumu, the Olugbede of Gbede, and the people of Iluhagba for ensuring peace throughout the process.
_“Today is a joyful day for all of us. Thank you very much,”_ the Olu said.
