Jaruma Mata of Africa Dedicates Community Development Service Award to Seyi Tinubu

The Jaruma Mata of Africa and Chief Executive Officer of Habz Hotel & Suites, Hajiya Ramatu Ibrahim, has dedicated her Community Development Service Award conferred on her by Democracy Newsline Newspaper to Seyi Tinubu, son of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Speaking after receiving the award, Hajiya Ramatu explained that her decision to dedicate the honour to Seyi Tinubu was inspired by his pivotal role in her political journey. According to her, her trajectory in politics and other aspects of her life would be incomplete without his contributions.
The politician, entrepreneur, and philanthropist was honoured at the 15th Democracy Newsline Newspaper Public Lecture and Award Ceremony held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at the National Merit Award House, Maitama, Abuja.
The event, themed “The Role of Independent Media in the Promotion of Participatory Democracy”, also recognized other distinguished Nigerians, including former Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Edward David Onoja; former Kogi State Attorney General, Barr. Prince Ben Ikani; Senior Special Assistant to the President on Home Grown School Feeding, Hon. Yetunde Adeniji, Engr. Bello Lawal, the National President ALGON, and Engr. Bertola Mike Ibitomihi a Nigerian based in Malaysia, among others.
Reacting to the honour, Hajiya Ramatu commended the management of Democracy Newsline Newspaper for the recognition, describing the award as both a mark of honour and a moral booster to continue her services to humanity.
She pledged to remain steadfast in her commitment to community development and humanitarian services.
The Community Development Award bestowed on Hajiya Ramatu Ibrahim stands as a testament to her selflessness, philanthropy, and relentless drive to build resilient communities.
It further cements her reputation as a beacon of hope for rural dwellers lacking basic amenities, as well as a source of inspiration to the younger generation and privileged Nigerians.
