Kogi Governor, Alhaji Usman Ododo Congratulates Elulu of Mopa on Housewarming and Newborn Baby Boy

The Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ododo, has extended his warmest congratulations to the Elulu of Mopa and Chairman of the Mopamuro Traditional Council, Oba Muyiwa Ibeun, on two joyous occasions: his housewarming ceremony in Lokoja and the birth of his newborn baby boy.
The governor was represented by the State Security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara (rtd), at the naming ceremony held on August 30, 2025.
During the occasion, Governor Ododo praised the monarch’s candour and royalty since his ascension to the throne, commending his efforts in promoting peace and tranquility within and outside his domain.




The governor noted that the recent visit of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Ogunwusi Enitan Babatunde, to Kogi State was facilitated by his personal efforts, which added a touch of glamour to the occasion.
He urged the people of his community to continue supporting and cooperating with his leadership to maintain peace.
He urged the Elulu to continue his good works, which have been beneficial to the people of Mopamuro.
The newborn baby boy has been named Prince Toriade, Zion, Boluwatife, Oluwamayowa, Adeniyi Ibeun.
The ceremony was attended by dignitaries from all walks of life, and the people of Mopamuro turned out in large numbers to celebrate with their distinguished monarch.
The governor’s congratulatory message highlights the strong bond between the government and the traditional institution in Kogi State.
