Kogi LG Polls: Chief Job Sesere Emerges the SDP Chairmanship candidate in Kabba-Bunu, Assures the people of good governance
My Good People of Kabba/Bunu Local Government,
This afternoon, our party, the Social Democratic Party, made a resounding statement: we aspire to build a local government where good governance, community and human development, and prompt payment of workers’ entitlements are the new standard.
I am deeply honored to have been unanimously chosen as the party’s Chairmanship candidate for the forthcoming local government election. This moment is humbling, not just because of the trust placed in me, but because it reflects the collective will of our people across party lines and beyond.
This decision marks the dawn of a new era for our local government—a decision that is sound, reasonable, and politically correct, aligning perfectly with our shared aspirations. I am grateful that our party’s stakeholders have prioritized the well-being of our dear local government above all else.
This journey is not about me or our party alone; it’s about seizing the opportunity to deliver good governance to our people. I, therefore, extend a hand of fellowship to my brother, who contested alongside me, and invite him to join forces as we work towards our party’s victory.
To the electorates, please join me as we navigate the route that will lead to the building of a local government that will set a new benchmark for local administration in Nigeria. Together, we can make this vision a reality.
As we celebrate this victory, we give thanks to God, whose guidance has brought us this far. I also want to express my deep appreciation to every member of our party’s ward executive for their unwavering support. Our journey has just begun, and we remain resolute in our mission.
We will not be intimidated, we will not succumb to any negative pressure, and we will not stop until we achieve our goal of setting a new standard for local governance in Nigeria.
Moving forward, we will immediately establish a campaign council that reflects the diversity of our local government. This council will include representatives from across party lines, various local communities, civil society organizations, student bodies, our esteemed royal fathers, and civil servants who have long been marginalized.
Finally, I call on every well-meaning son and daughter of Kabba/Bunu LGA to join me in this historic endeavor.
Thank you.
God bless the Social Democratic Party.
God bless Kabba/Bunu LGA.
God bless Kogi State.
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Sesere Job Monday (SJM)
