The Kogi State Commissioner For Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr Bashiru Gegu says the people of Lokoja Kogi Federal Constituency would overwhelmingly vote for the APC in the forthcoming November Governorship Election insisting that there is no vacancy in Lord lugard House.

 

Engr. Bashiru who who stole the show at the grand reception organised for the Member, Representing Lokoja Kogi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Suleiman Danladi Aguye, held at Karara, Lokoja LGA.

 

Engr. Bashiru who was highly celebrated for his leadership of the APC in the Federal Constituency, assured that the people of the Constituency and the State in general would come November governorship election stay with the APC, insisting that there is no vacancy in Lugard House.

 

While pointing out that Gov. Yahaya Bello has done so much for the people of Lokoja Kogi Federal Constituency, cautioned against voices of deceit by the opposition, pointing out that the APC remains the party to beat in Kogi State.

 

Engr. Bashiru thanked Gov. Bello and the APC for given opportunities to young people of Lokoja Kogi Federal Constituency, insisting that the administration has made children of nobody to become leaders and occupy positions of authority in the State.

 

” Let me use this medium to say that those talking about the opposition party can only do that in their rooms and hold such opinion in there pockets, the truth is APC remains the party of choice in Kogi State “.

 

The Commissioner described the APC Flagbearers for the forthcoming Governorship Election as having the capacity and competence to take over after Gov. Bello, assured that they will do more for the people of Lokoja and Kogi LGA.

 

The Commissioner praised the people of the federal constituency for voting for the APC in the past National and State Assembly Election, expressed optimism that same would be done in November.

 

The Commissioner urged the Hon. Suleiman Danladi Aguye not to fail the people, urged him to do all within his reach to meet the yearnings and aspirations of the people, insisting that they deserve more.

 

The reception was attended by members Representing Ajaokuta and Adavi Okehi Federal Constituencies as well as the Speaker and Members of Kogi State House of Assembly.

 

Others in attendance include the Council Chairman, Lokoja LGA, Hon. Mohammed Danasabe Mohammed, political stakeholders from the federal constituency.
