KWSG reiterates commitment to Youth Development –Dr Jamila

The Minister of Federal Ministry Of Youth Development, Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim on Thursday described, His Excellency the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for giving her the mantle to steer the youths in the country . She also applauded the Governor of Kwara State, governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq on youths Inclusion in Governance.
The Minister who was welcomed to the State of Harmony by the team led by the newly appointed Commissioner Youth Development and Chairman of NYSC Governing Board, Hon. Musa Nafisat Buge and the State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps
Mr. Onifade Olaoluwa , described president Tinubu administration as youth driven and most policies are geared towards maximizing the potential embedded in Youth for better Nigeria.
The honourable Minister also commended the Kwara state governor exemplary leadership in taking cognisance to women and youth roles in the scheme of things in the state. According to her “His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has set a pace for youth and women inclusion in governance of Kwara State.
In her Welcome address, the Kwara State Commissioner of Youth Development reiterated the state government commitment and partnership with the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, for effective youth participation and inclusion in governance, while also creating an enabling environment for them to thrive, noting that the Governor of Kwara State has set the pace for youth participation in government in Nigeria.
The State Coordinator, NYSC Kwara State, Mr. Onifade Olaoluwa lauded the role the President and Kwara State Governor in recognizing the potentials of youths and placing them in key positions . He tasked Nigeria youths to be in fore front of ensuring that agenda of nation building is fully materialized.
In his words “ I wish to urge youths in the nation to support both the Minister and Commissioner… This will go a long way having positive narrative of youths in power and further realised collective efforts of national development”
Also present at the event were Commissioner for Business Innovation and Technology, Hon. Damilola Yusuf Adelodun; Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Sheu Usman Ndanusa.
Others were Commissioner II , Kwara State Civil Service Commission, Mrs Jemilat Adamu Bake; Former Commissioner for Tertiary Education; Dr. Aminat Ahmed NYSC Ilorin West Local Government Inspector, Alhaja Oloriegbe Tawa.
