Lokoja GoodWill Widows Association Hails SGS Dr. Folashade Arike Ayoade at 60
The Lokoja GoodWill Widows Association has felicitated with the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Dr. (Mrs.) Folashade Arike Ayoade, on the occasion of her 60th birthday.
In a statement issued on Wednesday and jointly signed by the Life Matron of the Association, Chief (Mrs.) Damaris Tumbutu Agbogun (JP), and the President, Mrs. Adegbola Elizabeth Funmilayo, the group commended Dr. Ayoade for her outstanding humanitarian service to the people of Kogi State and Nigeria at large.
The statement noted that Dr. Ayoade has rekindled the hopes of thousands of widows across the country through her acts of kindness, compassion, and empowerment initiatives.
“We are using this medium to join millions of Nigerians in celebrating a woman who has consistently shown love and care for vulnerable people in society, especially widows,” the statement read.
The widows described the SGS as “a rare gift” whose life has remained a source of hope and inspiration to many.
“Many of us who lost our husbands had equally lost hope. But this woman made us understand that all hope is not lost. Through her support and timely assistance, we found strength to carry on. As she marks another milestone today, we pray God continues to bless, protect, and grant her long life to keep serving humanity,” the group added.
Chief Agbogun further praised Dr. Ayoade’s selfless leadership, describing her as “a trailblazer who continues to rewrite history for women in governance.”
Mrs. Adegbola also reaffirmed the association’s gratitude:
“Her motherly disposition has touched countless lives, and for that, we stand proud to celebrate her. We wish her more fruitful years filled with health, wisdom, and divine protection.”
The Lokoja GoodWill Widows Association concluded by extending heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Ayoade, urging her to remain steadfast in her mission of service to humanity.
