May Day 2025: Kogi Deputy Gov Commemorates With State’s Workforce

The Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Comrade Joel Salifu, joined the State Governor, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo FCA, at the Muhammed Buhari Civic Centre in Lokoja to commemorate the Workers’ Day Celebration.

Taking questions from the press shortly after the event, the Deputy Governor expressed his appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the Kogi State workforce. He acknowledged their contributions to the development and progress of the state, emphasizing the importance of recognizing and celebrating their efforts.

Comrade Joel Salifu highlighted the commitment of the state government to improving the welfare and working conditions of workers in Kogi State. He reiterated the government’s dedication to creating a conducive environment for all workers to thrive and excel in their respective roles.

The 2025 Workers’ Day Celebration was filled with camaraderie, appreciation, and solidarity among the Kogi State workforce. The event served as a reminder of the essential role that workers play in driving the growth and prosperity of the state.
