New Dawn As ACEDA Inaugurates First Executive

The Association of Creative Event Designers Abuja (ACEDA) has officially inaugurated its first executive committee, marking a significant milestone in the association’s development and leadership structure.
The inauguration ceremony, held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Space and Functions Event Centre, Wuse 2, Abuja, followed a successful election process conducted under the supervision of an electoral committee approved by all members of the association.

Giving insight into what the Association of Creative Event Designer Abuja is about ( ACEDA),Mrs Linda Wuyep a member of the electoral Committee who’s also the Chief Executive Officer of Beautiful Hands Events explained that (ACEDA) is a professional body established to bring together creative event designers within Abuja into a structured, collaborative, and forward-thinking community.
According to her the association was formed out of a shared need for connection, standardization, and growth within the event design industry. What began as a simple platform for interaction has evolved into a unified association committed to excellence and professionalism, she said.
“The association serves as a hub for learning, networking, and capacity building, providing members with opportunities to refine their craft, share knowledge, and grow sustainable businesses”.
Continuing , Mrs Wuyep further stressed that ACEDA is focused on promoting industry standards, encouraging ethical practices, and fostering healthy collaboration among creative event designers. Through its initiatives, the association seeks to elevate the quality, creativity, and professionalism of event design within Abuja.
“Beyond business, ACEDA represents a community, one that supports its members, encourages accountability, and works collectively towards long-term industry development” Wuyep stated.
In her inaugural address, the President, Mrs. Tolulope Oladipopu, commended members of the electoral committee for their dedication and transparency, which ensured the successful election of ACEDA’s pioneer executive team. She expressed optimism about the future of the association and pledged a new era of progress, unity, and transformation.
She also lauded the efforts of the pioneer members of the association who built the foundation of the association without a roadmap, she hailed their unwavering Commitments and resilience for laying a solid foundation for them to build upon.
Earlier, the Secretary of the Electoral Committee, Mrs. Bunmi Eji of Midas Touch Events, described the occasion as more than just a transition of leadership. She noted that it represents growth, structure, and the strengthening of a vision that began as a simple idea and has now evolved into a strong and thriving private community.
The inauguration marks the beginning of a new chapter for ACEDA as it seeks to promote professionalism and Collaboration.
