Nwifuru Congratulates Ebonyi Soldier, Festus Igube For Winning Bronze medal in Canada Invictus Game

Ebonyi State Governor, Nwifuru Nwifuru has congratulated Festus Igube for winning a bronze medal in the ongoing Invictus Games in Canada.
The Invictus Games, founded by Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, is an international multi-sport event for wounded, injured, and sick servicemen and women, both active and veteran.
Igube, a serving member of the Nigerian Armed Forces, competed in the men’s 50-meter freestyle event, finishing third behind competitors from U.S and Australia.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Dr Monday Uzor, the governor commended the wounded soldier for his gallantry even while defying physical challenges to clinch the coveted bronze medal.
Governor Nwifuru is deeply honored to extend warmest congratulations to Igube on his remarkable achievement.
“Winning a bronze medal is a testament to his unassailable determination, resilience, and patriotism for our dear nation, Nigeria.”
“Your selfless service to our nation, despite the ultimate sacrifice of losing your hands while fighting against Boko Haram, is a shining example of courage and devotion” says Governor Nwifuru.
“Your achievement serves as an inspiration to us all, demonstrating that with unyielding spirit and perseverance, we can overcome even the most daunting challenges”.
