Okun United for Ododo/Joel 2023 Visits Agbana of Isanlu, Celebrates New Yam Festival with him
In continuation of the tour of Okunland ahead of the November 11 Governorship Election in Kogi State, the Okun United for Ododo/Joel Support Group has taken its campaign to the Agbana of Isanlu, HRM Oba Moses Babatunde Etombi, chairman Yagba East Traditional Council with the intention to felicitate with the kingdom on the new yam festival and also to woo prospective voters in the kingdom in favour of APC Governorship candidate.
Speaking in Isanlu, State Security Adviser who doubles as the Coordinator of the group, Commander Jerry Omodara (rtd) said it has become important for the group to pay him a courtesy visit being one of the respected monarchs in the area to felicitate with them on the new yam festival and also to inform him of their main objective which is mobilizing all available resources in Okunland in support of the APC Governorship candidate in the forthcoming Governorship election in the state.
Omodara emphasized on the need for Okun people to unite for Ododo project as that will enable the area to face future challenges.
While the President of Isanlu Progressive Union (IPU), Bashorun Adedayo Kayode welcome the group to Isanlu, stressing that their message is clear and it is food for thought.
In his reaction to their submission, the Agbana of Isanlu commended the group for taking out their time to felicitate with them on the festival and also to mobilize the Okun people in one direction.
He used the occasion to appreciate Governor Yahaya Bello for his giant efforts on the security of the area.
He prayed for the group and wish them well in the pursue of their objectives.
