Presidential Media Tour: Nanahawa Kazeem Captivates Audience with Kogi Education Success Story

Representing the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Nanahawa Kazeem, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Education, delivered one of the most talked-about presentations at the Presidential Media Tour Dinner held on 18th July at Banquet Hall, Government House.

Tasked with presenting Kogi State’s education and human capital development reforms within seven minutes, she concluded her presentation in 6 minutes and 59 seconds—a feat that drew commendation from Chief Sunday Dare, CON, Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Media and Public Communications, who publicly acknowledged her precision in keeping strictly to time.

Among the four presentations delivered during the evening, Nanahawa’s presentation stood out for its clarity, confidence, and compelling storytelling. Rather than simply reading slides, she walked the audience through Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s transformative investments in education and human capital development.

Her presentation highlighted landmark achievements, including the implementation of free education policies, payment of external examination fees for students, increased investment in educational infrastructure, expansion of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), improved access to tertiary education, and strategic initiatives designed to equip young people with market-ready skills while strengthening Kogi State’s human capital.

Her ability to compress a comprehensive account of the administration’s education reforms into less than seven minutes without losing depth or impact earned admiration from many in attendance and further underscored the state’s commitment to effective governance and results-driven communication.

As discussions from the Presidential Media Tour continue, one name has continued to generate interest:

Who is Nanahawa Kazeem?
