RT HON. HALIMS: Reflections On Leader above Regular Bar,
Representing Beyond Expectations, Serving Timelessly

This morning, I woke up to the message of a constituent employed through the Deputy Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims into an MDA under the Presidency. It was sent directly to me by the Facilitator and two things came to my mind — my discouragement and my prayers.

These thoughts, although opposite to themselves are a reflection of the reality around this gesture. My discouragement to the beneficiary was not out of bad wish but on account of my own personal principle of gratitude of not asking for too much and secondly, I have to pray for him when he commenced this journey of a change in his job because I know the inconveniences of the first.
Being that the first was facilitated by Rt. Hon. Halims, in my own assumption concluded that asking for a change will be an act of ingratitude when this fellow discussed his desire with me. Lo, despite me discouraging the idea right before Hon Halims, God chose the secret prayers I made for him and I am unusually saying that this particular gesture is a service above regular bar and compassion beyond societal standards, over again.
There is a very important lesson here for everyone to learn — especially job applicants. And it is never to let anyone discourage, especially if you have access to Rt. Hon Halims. It has been proven over time that if you have credible intelligence, He will use all the privileges of his good office to make it come through. From Shintaku village in Bassa Local Government Area to Oforachi in Igalamela Local Government Area, He has a testimony of people employed through him without any relationship with them in the past.
Like he has always said and I have come to master, His is a promise of service and He will continue to do more for the greater good of the society. Not for politics, not for popularity and not for riches. Rt. Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims is according to his party National Chairman a Professor of Grassroots Politics, the name Halims is a household name in Kogi State and the brand Halims is a giant in both hospitality and oil and gas even before the bearer joined politics.
Do not wonder what more. This is how my day started and I hope you are motivated to pray for Hon Halims, get more intentional about your life and wish people well without excuse because in the end, qui Sera Sera — what will be will be!
