SDP PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE FOR 2027:
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE TRUE HOPE BEARER, HIS EXCELLENCY, PRINCE ADEWOLE ADEBAYO
I, Engineer Daniel Eunice Oluwaseyi, Kwara State Publicity Secretary, and SDP Candidate for Ekiti/Isin/Irepodun/ Oke-Ero Federal Constituency of Kwara South, heartily rejoice with our great Party, the SDP, on the positive development of successfully nominating His Excellency, Prince Adewole Adebayo, a true Nigerian patriot, renowned international lawyer, successful industrialist, media entrepreneur and celebrated philanthropist as our party’s presidential flag bearer for the 2027 general election.
The listing, by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of the name of Prince Adewole Adebayo as our presidential candidate has in no small measure, invigorated the party, and elicited jubilation and enthusiasm across the ranks and file of the SDP family, particularly at the sub-natioonal level.
On behalf of all candidates of the SDP for the 2027 general election, I hereby commend the Electoral Commission for upholding rule of law and standibg firm in respecting the independence and supremacy of the SDP, and indeed, all political parties, in matter bordering on their internal democracy and administration of their affairs, particularly in deciding their leadership.

The strict adherence to the rule of law and unbiased actions of the Commission, with regard to the nomination of names of candidates of political parties, which is an important aspect of the 2026 electoral process, are quite reassuring
It is indeed heartwarming for us in the SDP, that the building momentum around the party is largely as a result of its stability and good national leadership, as well as the candidature and demonstrable capacity which our presidential candidate has consistently demonstrated, which have made him a darling of millions of Nigerians across teh North and South, and in his becoming a credible alternative choice for the electorate through the instrumentality of his admirable public policy advocacy; deep grasps of the fundamentals of national transformation and sustainable development, and in pushing for the prioritising of true constitutional democracy and governance anchored on Chapter 2 of the Nigerian Constitution.
We are all greatly inspired and motivated by Prince Adewole Adebayo becoming the alluring face and credible voice for building and egalitarian Nigerian society. The party is happy for his growing national appeal and acceptability and for emerging as the most followed, most vibrant, and most competent contender for the office of president ahead of the 2027 elections.
The party members across the country are deeply happy, and their morale is significantly boosted by the growing public endorsement that Prince Adewole Adebayo’s candidature is enjoying from strategic political advocacy groups, building blocks, and key leaders of thought and political influencers nationwide.
I hereby call on all Nigerians to move away from the dehumanising hunger, poverty, national despair, insecurity and despondency of this era and embrace the refreshing hope for national transformation, sustainable development, and true better life for all Nigerians, that the candidature of the SDP presidential candidate offers.
As a frontline national opposition party, the SDP will continue to work to deepen our democracy and prioritise the well-being of Nigerian citizens at all levels.
As the candidates of the SDP for the general elections are preparing and cultivating the grounds, mobilizing, and working hard to market their programs and manifesto of the party to the electorate, 2027 surely promises to be a turning point for Nigeria.
All hands must, therefore, be on deck to get the country out of the woods. As Nigerians, we owe it a duty to ourselves to ensure that we take critical decisions by making the right voting choices at the centre and sub-national levels to ensure that Nigeria gets better than it is today.
Going forward, Nigeria has to be better governed than what obtains presently.The SDP is undeniably the sure pathway.
