Senator Sunday Karimi: Driving Development and Empowering Communities in Kogi West

Senator Sunday Karimi, representing Kogi West in the National Assembly, is making significant strides in uplifting the region through infrastructure, healthcare, and community initiatives. One of his standout projects is the construction of the Pakuta Bridge in Akutupa Kiri, which will enhance connectivity and boost economic activities. This bridge addresses a long-standing need, facilitating trade and movement for residents. The Olu-Kiri of Kiri Land, along with his council, has expressed appreciation for this impactful development, highlighting its benefits for the community.

Senator Karimi has also made notable contributions to healthcare and education. He recently donated 11 million naira to support the Ijumu Anglican Diocese’s Nursing School project and other church development activities. By investing in this nursing school, he aims to improve healthcare accessibility and train future healthcare professionals for Kogi West. The project promises to offer valuable skills to the youth, setting a foundation for a healthier community.

During the donation ceremony, various dignitaries, including traditional rulers, former government officials, and industry representatives, gathered to commend Senator Karimi’s efforts. Their attendance reflects the respect and high regard he enjoys not only among his constituents but also across different sectors of the state.

Beyond infrastructure and healthcare, Senator Karimi focuses on empowering rural communities, particularly youth, women, and small business owners. Through various programs, he provides training, financial aid, and resources to foster growth and self-sufficiency. His grassroots approach emphasizes the importance of offering opportunities for all, laying the groundwork for meaningful progress.

The impact of Senator Karimi’s work is evident in the improved infrastructure, healthcare access, and increased opportunities for his constituents. His leadership aims at creating sustainable development that positively affects lives across Kogi West. As he continues his service, his efforts reflect a commitment to fostering change and development, leaving a legacy of tangible benefits for the communities he represents.
