Senator Sunday Steve Karimi Restored Power Back to Fegge Baptist Community, Alheri, Lokoja
Power has been restored to Fegge Baptist Community, Alheri, Lokoja after being without power for over a month, due to issues of faulty transformer and vandalism. The community which has been experiencing darkness contacted the Senator and solicited support for the repairs of their two faulty transformers and in less than 72hrs, the sum of Seven Hundred Thousand Naira (N700,000) was released to them.
Prince Olusanjo Orebiyi, presented the money on behalf of the Senator to the representatives of the community. He assured them that Sen. Sunday Steve Karimi is committed to the welfare, security and wellbeing of the people of Kogi West .
Reacting, Mr. Tenimu Bako, the spokesman of the community said, “We were surprised by the quick response and will of the Senator. He acted as a responsible and responsive leader and we appreciates his intervention. The power outage had slowed down many businesses and has been causing security issues, but we are very sure that with the restoration of these two transformers, normalcy will return. We pray that may God grant him sound health and more greatness. We can’t wait to appreciate him in our own little ways when the time is right because he has demonstrated a rare trait.”
Senator Sunday Steve Karimi has continued to show capacity and capability in his representation. He is committed more than ever before in ensuring that everything that will bring development and progress to the people of Kogi West are put in place and adequately supported.
