Waive Endorsement of Governor OBOREVWORI: A Testament His Good Works Across Political Borders

Hon Comrade Francis Obule, Senior Special Assistant SSA to the Delta State Governor on Political Matters have posited that the endorsement of Governor Sheriff OBOREVWORI by Rt Hon Francis Ejiroghene Waive for second tenure is a testament to the Governor good works across political borders

In a remarkable show of bipartisan unity, the recent endorsement of Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, by Hon. Rev. Francis Ejiroghene Waive, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has further solidified Governor Sheriff OBOREVWORI political acceptance across party lines.

This rare display of political goodwill underscores the overwhelming popularity of Governor Oborevwori and his administration’s commitment to inclusiveness, development, and good governance as encapsulated in the MORE AGENDA.

Speaking on the significance of this endorsement, in the oil City of Warri, Comrade Francis Obule, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters, described the move as a clear testament to the Governor’s broad-based appeal.

 

Obule the Senior Governor Aide noted that despite political differences, Hon. Waive’s public support for the Governor reflects a consensus among well-meaning Deltans that the Oborevwori-led administration is working assiduously to deliver on its M.O.R.E. Agenda—focusing on Meaningful Development, Opportunities for All, Realistic Reforms, and Enhanced Peace and Security.

 

Hon Comrade Francis Obule emphasized that Governor Oborevwori’s leadership style, people-centered policies, and unwavering dedication to infrastructural development, job creation, and social welfare have earned him admiration even beyond the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

 

He pointed out that Waive’s endorsement should not be seen as mere political rhetoric but as an acknowledgment of the Governor’s relentless pursuit of the common good of all Deltans irrespective of the political parties they belong to.

“Governor Oborevwori has continued to demonstrate that governance is about the people and not political affiliations. His administration’s policies and projects are designed to uplift all Deltans, irrespective of party divides. That is why we see endorsements coming from unexpected quarters, including Hon. Waive, a respected figure in the opposition,” Obule remarked.

Highlighting some of the administration’s achievements, Obule pointed to key infrastructural projects, improvements in education and healthcare, as well as significant strides in economic empowerment and security. He urged all stakeholders in Delta State to rally behind the Governor to ensure continued progress and stability beyond 2027.
Obule also appealed to other opposition Political parties to do the same not to waste their resources and time.
In addition, Obule appealed to Delta South, specifically the lsokos the ljaws and the ltsekiris to throw their weight behind the sabi governor to enable them take over come twenty 2031 from His Excellency .
