The Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja Dr Salisu Usman Ogbo said the year 2023 has been a crucial moment of test for Nigeria as nation and state.
In his new year message on Monday, Dr Ogbo tasked Nigerians to remain steadfast in prayers and commitment to the unity and collective prosperity of the Country.
He prayed that God almighty will grant all Nigerians the wisdom to support institutions charged with the responsibility of transition so as to ensure the advancement of Kogi State and Nigeria at large.
The Rector specifically felicitates with Executive Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Yahaya Bello and the entire New Direction team for the successes recorded in 2023, and for the positive expectations of the new year.
Meanwhile, the Rector of the Polytechnic Dr Salisu Usman Ogbo has felicitated with Kogi State Governor-Elect, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on the occasion of his 49th birthday.
Ogbo disclosed that the celebration of the 49th birthday of the Kogi State Governor elect coinciding with his month of swearing in as the 6th democratically elected Executive Governor of Kogi State speaks volumes about the divinely inspired direction of his life.
He expresses confident that the divine involvement in his affairs will guide him into providing exemplary governance of continuity and consolidation in Kogi State.
The Rector also expressed confident that with the Governor elect progressive credentials, humble and honest disposition to issues, consolidating on the huge gains recorded under the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello will be a huge success.
“It is our best wishes and prayer that God grant you the wisdom, sound health and leadership prowess to continue the delivery of good governance to the people of Kogi State” he stated.
