The YPP party flag bearers in the next Saturday governorship election were accused of non-commitment to the party’s electioneering campaign activities, among other allegations.

“The Party’s attention has been drawn to the fact you, Aduragbemi Euba Animashahun and your Deputy Governorship candidate – Mr. JELEEL OJEWOLE ADEKOLA, have engaged in a series of anti-party activities and have not complied with the guidelines and rules of the party relating to the party’s gubernatorial candidacy which you promised to comply with prior to your emergence as the party’s gubernatorial flag bearer.

“We make bold to say that party would not allow candidates to dishonour and disregard the party platform on which they emerged as a candidates.

“The party, has, therefore, officially summoned them to appear before the state executives on March 9, 2023 at the party’s Secretariat in Ibadan.

“We are also using this opportunity to urge our members to remain focused and gear up effort towards the March 9 Egbeda-Oluyole-Ibadan South West LGA’s House-to-House campaign which aims to ensure good outing for our House of Assembly candidates and mobilize our members”.
