Breaking: APC Expels Former House of Assembly Minority Leader, Hon. Yori Afolabi Over Anti Party Activities

All Progressive Congress in Ijumu Local Government Area has expelled the form Minority Leader who represented Ijumu constituency between 2011 – 2015 in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Yori Afolabi for anti party activities in the just concluded Presidential and National Assembly elections.

This was made known yesterday in a letter signed by the party chairman and other members of the executive in Iyah/Ayeh ward of Ijumu local government, Hon Komolafe Kayode Idowu sighted by our reporter.

According to the letter, the former lawmaker was said to have openly worked against the party during the recently held presidential and national assembly polls, which caused a lot of setback for the party in the area.

The letter further stressed that his actions has brought a lot of embarrassment to other members of the party in the political ward hence he should be excommunicated from the party.
