A Call for Fairness, Competence, and Renewal in PDP Youth Leadership

As committed members of the Democratic Youth Alliance of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), we reaffirm our strong commitment to unity, progress, and the overall success of our party.

We welcome any open and inclusive process that fosters harmony and shared goals.

However, we strongly oppose the imposition of candidates whose capability, visibility, or track record within the party is unclear. The future of the PDP youth structure cannot be left in the hands of those who are unfamiliar or untested.

At this critical moment, the PDP needs leaders who have been consistent, visible, and loyal to the party. Hon. Abdulkadir Ibrahim embodies these qualities. Over the years, he has shown a deep understanding of party values, a strong record of youth engagement, and a readiness to lead with strength, inclusion, and vision.

We call on our leaders at all levels to reflect on past mistakes and take this opportunity to rebuild trust among our young members by prioritizing competence over convenience.

The task ahead requires a vibrant, committed, and visionary youth leader—someone who truly represents the voice and aspirations of the PDP youth across the country. That person is undoubtedly Hon. Abdulkadir Ibrahim—a symbol of loyalty, courage, and ability.

Let us unite for the restoration of trust, fairness, and meaningful leadership within our youth ranks. The time for renewal is now.

We urge all stakeholders across Kogi West, Kogi Central, Kogi East, and throughout Nigeria to support Hon. Abdulkadir Ibrahim as the next National Youth Leader of our party to drive the next phase of youth inclusion and transformation.

Signed:
Comr. Salifu Joel
Publicity Secretary
Democratic Youth Alliance (PDP)
