In a moment of celebration and recognition, Comrade Dare Mathew, fondly known as OG Bobo, has been awarded the prestigious title of “Best Youth Mobilizer of the Year 2025”. This honor was presented to him by Okun Radio Network in acknowledgment of his consistent dedication to youth empowerment and grassroots mobilization across Kabba/Bunu, Ijumu, and the wider Kogi State, as well as his positive influence across Nigeria.
Comr. Dare Mathew, who also serves as the Founder and Leader of Team OG Bobo, has become a household name in youth development, known for his relentless passion for community service and capacity building. His grassroots engagement and personal involvement with the youths and vulnerable groups have distinguished him as a selfless leader and a beacon of hope.

It will be recalled that OG Bobo has continuously made efforts to ensure that the youth across Kogi State benefit from his numerous initiatives. Among his many laudable contributions, he personally sponsored the distribution of over 9,000 60-leaves exercise books. This gesture was in support of the educational advancement programs under the administration of the former Governor, His Excellency Yahaya Adoza Bello, the current Governor, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State.
Beyond educational support, Comr. Mathew has taken bold steps to empower widows, widowers, young people, women, and other vulnerable individuals within Kabba/Bunu Local Government. His efforts include the provision of financial aid, organizing empowerment programs, and facilitating opportunities for self-reliance and growth.
