CPI Hails Kogi SSG, Dr. Folashade Ayoade, at 60
The Challenged Parenthood Initiative (CPI) has felicitated with the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Dr. (Mrs.) Folashade Arike Ayoade, on the occasion of her 60th birthday, describing her as a trailblazer, peace-builder, and a rare blessing to humanity.
In a congratulatory statement issued on Wednesday, the Executive Director of CPI, Eunice Abimbola Agbogun, showered encomiums on Dr. Ayoade, noting that her exemplary service and selfless contributions to the development of Kogi State and Nigeria remain indelible.
“Dr. Folashade Ayoade is not only a shining example of womanhood but also a symbol of dedication, humility, and service to humanity. She has consistently demonstrated leadership anchored on the fear of God and integrity,” Agbogun said.
She added that Dr. Ayoade’s tenure has redefined public service in the state.
“As we celebrate this heroine of our time, our modest prayer is that God Almighty will continue to bless, protect, and grant her long life, sound health, and abundant resources. She remains a living legend whose impact cannot be overemphasized,” Agbogun stated.
Agbogun further described Dr. Ayoade as “a pathfinder and record-breaker,” highlighting her as the first woman in Kogi State to be appointed Secretary to the State Government and also the longest-serving SSG in the history of Nigeria.
“This is no small feat. It speaks volumes of her competence, resilience, and the confidence reposed in her by successive administrations. Such a woman deserves to be celebrated not only in Kogi State but across the nation,” she added.
Extolling her virtues, the CPI boss also likened Dr. Ayoade to a beacon of inspiration for young women.
“She is the Margaret Thatcher of our golden generation a woman of courage, vision, and uncommon strength. Her commitment to human capital development and the upliftment of society is a legacy that will stand the test of time. We are indeed grateful to God for blessing this generation with such a mother figure and role model,” Agbogun concluded.
