The event was witnessed by the Executive Secretary of TETFund, Arc. Sonny Echono, PhD, FNIA, OON, and the Chairman of the TETFund Board, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari, CON, who joined the First Lady and the Anambra State Governor during the commissioning.

The projects are part of TETFund’s intervention programmes designed to address infrastructure gaps and strengthen the capacity of tertiary institutions across the country.

Speaking during the occasion, the stakeholders underscored the importance of sustained investment in education infrastructure as a critical component of national development.

The commissioning at the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, also highlighted the growing collaboration among the Federal Government, TETFund, state governments and tertiary institutions in advancing educational development.

The presence of Senator Oluremi Tinubu at the ceremony further underscored the administration’s emphasis on improving the quality of education and creating conducive environments for students and academic staff.

Governor Soludo, who joined in the commissioning, was also part of the delegation that inspected and unveiled the completed TETFund-supported facilities.

The TETFund leadership, represented by Echono and Masari, reiterated the Fund’s commitment to supporting tertiary institutions through strategic interventions in infrastructure, human capital development and other areas critical to academic excellence.

The Federal Polytechnic, Oko, is among institutions benefiting from TETFund interventions aimed at improving facilities and strengthening tertiary education delivery.

The commissioning ceremony therefore represents an important step in the Federal Government’s broader efforts to bridge infrastructure deficits in Nigeria’s tertiary institutions and provide students with better facilities for learning and skills development.
