Engineer Arum Empowers Petty Traders in Jos
Engineer Arum Ajiji, a well-known philanthropist and community leader from Jos East Local Government Area of Plateau State, has empowered petty traders at the famous 100 Steps Historic Market of the Afizere people, located at the Jos Museum.
Engineer Ajiji is a respected personality whose influence extends beyond Plateau State. Known for his philanthropic gestures and commitment to human empowerment, he has continued to touch lives across the state, particularly within the Northern Senatorial District, with special focus on the less privileged.
During a surprise visit to the market, he provided support to all petty traders present to boost their businesses and improve their livelihoods. The beneficiaries expressed gratitude, showering him with praises and best wishes.
Engineer Ajiji is contesting for the position of Member, House of Representatives, for Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency. He said unity, relationship building, and bridging divides will be his priorities if elected.
“Working with the people and relating with them can make a difference in all aspects of human endeavour,” he said. He noted that some politicians create disunity and division among citizens instead of building bridges.
“One of my priorities is that we should create stronger relationships and unite as a family, irrespective of our diversity and inclinations. We can achieve meaningful development when we learn how to coexist,” he added.
Speaking on the state of security, Engineer Ajiji said: “It is high time we take full responsibility for securing ourselves and defending our land. We can achieve this by being vigilant because security is everybody’s business. Security agents in this country are seriously overwhelmed by current challenges.
