Former NFF President, Chief Sani Lulu, to Receive Lifetime Achievements Award.

The former President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Chief Sani Abdullahi Lulu, will be honored with a Lifetime Achievements Award by Democracy Newsline Newspaper as part of its 15-year anniversary celebrations.
According to Elder Olalekan Aiyenigba, Executive Editor of Democracy Newsline Newspaper, Chief Lulu is an outstanding administrator who performed credibly well during his tenure as NFF President
The award is based on reports from a team of experts who conducted an opinion poll, and the special recognition will be bestowed on Chief Sani Abdullahi Lulu during the upcoming 15th Public Lecture and Award Ceremony.
He noted that the event is scheduled to hold on August 26, 2025, at the Banquet Hall, National Merit House, Maitama, Abuja, with a red carpet ceremony by 5pm, while the Main Event will commence by 6pm followed by a dinner program.
The 15th Public Lecture and Award Ceremony, themed “Promoting Participatory Democracy and Good Governance,” will bring together stakeholders to discuss Nigeria’s democratic progress. The ceremony will feature a keynote address from a reputable Nigerian and the launch of a N100 million fund for podcast studio equipment and the establishment of Democracy Newsline Newspaper’s online Television station
