Respected voices across Kabba/Bunu Local Government have continued to pour in heartfelt tributes in honour of High Chief Adegboyega Akaa as he marks his birthday anniversary.
Among the well-wishers is Rt. Hon. Mathew Olushola Kolawole (Yomikola), former Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, who described Chief Akaa as a “pillar of the community, a grassroots mobilizer, and a consistent promoter of unity and tradition.”
Adding to the chorus of goodwill, Hon. Olorunsaiye Sunday (popularly known as Regards) the Otu Ward Chairman and Chairman of all APC Ward Chairmen in Kabba/Bunu — praised Chief Akaa for his maturity, grassroots leadership, and fatherly role across political and social divides.
In a deeply respectful tribute, High Chief Julius Arokoyo, one of the most revered and respected traditional Chiefs in the Kabba Owe community, also joined in celebrating High Chief Akaa. He acknowledged Akaa’s enduring legacy as a committed cultural custodian and unifier within the Kabba traditional council.
“High Chief Adegboyega Akaa is a man of character, a true son of Owe land, and a symbol of what traditional leadership should be. His wisdom, patience, and dignity are admired not just in Kabba but across Yoruba land,” Chief Arokoyo said.
The tributes reflect not only the stature of Chief Akaa but also the shared values among Kabba leaders who recognize and honour excellence in leadership, cultural preservation, and community service.
