GOVERNOR UMARU BAGO LEADS MINISTER OF WORKS SEN. DAVID UMAHI TO INSPECT THE ONGOING SULEJA- MADALLA DUAL CARRIAGEWAY ROAD PROJECT.
Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago, led the Minister of Works, Sen. David Umahi and his entourage to inspect the ongoing dual Suleja-Madalla carriageway road project.
Farmer Governor Umaru Bago who re-emphazised his determination in developing the State, said more road infrastructure would be executed in Suleja to decongest and develop the town.
The Minister of Works, Sen. David Umahi, commended the Farmer Governor for his giant strides in infrastructural development.
He interacted with the contractors handling the project, where he extended an invitation to them to be part of the meeting with contractors scheduled to hold in Abuja on Friday this week.
The Minister re-assured the Farmer Governor of the continued support of the Federal Government as it remains poised to improve road infrastructure across the Country.
The Farmer Governor, Minister and his entourage had a stop-over at Jazu Community, where the new Minna City Gate is to be sited as well as Sesita Community.
Others in company of the Farmer Governor were the Senator Representing Niger East Senatorial District, Sen. Mohammed Sani Musa, member representing Bida/Gbako/ Katcha Federal Constituency Saidu Musa Abdullahi and some members of the State Executive Council, among other dignitaries.
The Minister of Works was in Minna the Niger State capital for a Town Hall meeting where he engaged with stakeholders on the construction of the 125 km; 3 lanes single carriage which is the Niger State component of the 1068 km Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway.
