Leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kabba, Kogi State, have paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Duro Meseko, Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the APC and member of the National Working Committee, NWC.
The delegation, led by Chi f Julius Arokoyo, from Kabba, met with Meseko on Thursday at the APC National Secretariat to brief him on party developments in Kabba/Bunu and across Kogi West.
Speaking during the visit, the stakeholders commended Hon. Meseko for his effective representation of the party at the national level and for consistently projecting the interest of Kogi State and the North Central zone in the NWC.
“We are here to identify with you and to appreciate your commitment to the APC,” one of the leaders said. “As Deputy National Publicity Secretary, you have done well in projecting the image of the party and in keeping our people informed. Kabba is proud of you.”
They briefed the NWC member on ongoing grassroots mobilization efforts in Kabba and reaffirmed their loyalty to the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo. The delegation also called for greater unity within the party ahead of 2027.
In his response, Hon. Meseko thanked the stakeholders for the visit and urged them to sustain peace, discipline, and cohesion in Kabba and Kogi West.
He said the party at the national level is focused on strengthening internal democracy, improving communication, and ensuring that members benefit from the reforms of the Tinubu administration.
“The NWC appreciates the support from Kabba and Kogi West,” Meseko said. “I urge you all to continue to work together, avoid distractions, and mobilize at the grassroots. That is how we can deliver victory for the APC in future elections.”
He assured the delegation of his readiness to continue to serve as a bridge between the grassroots and the national leadership of the party.
The visit was attended by party elders, women leaders, youth representatives, and other APC stakeholders from Kabba.
